Juventus prepare to offer Brazilian attacker Douglas Costa to Chelsea in a straight swap for Jorginho, according to a report.

Juventus are reportedly preparing to offer Douglas Costa to Chelsea in a straight swap for Jorginho.

The speculation surrounding Jorginho's future continues to gather pace, with the Italian champions seemingly determined to sign the Blues midfielder during this summer's transfer window.

The 28-year-old has been a key player for Frank Lampard's side this season, contributing seven goals and two assists in 37 appearances in all competitions.

Talk of a potential return to Serie A remains, though, and according to Sport Mediaset, Chelsea could be offered Brazilian attacker Costa in a straight swap for the Italian midfielder.

Costa, who has also recently been linked with Manchester United, has scored twice and provided five assists in 18 appearances for the Old Lady during the 2019-20 campaign.

The 29-year-old, whose existing deal in Turin is due to expire in June 2022, has spent time on the sidelines this season with muscular and hamstring problems.
