Liverpool end their interest in Watford attacker Ismaila Sarr following the arrival of Diogo Jota, according to a report.

Liverpool will reportedly not be signing Watford attacker Ismaila Sarr during this summer's transfer window.

The Premier League champions have been strongly linked with the 22-year-old, who impressed for the Hornets in the top flight during the 2019-20 campaign.

A recent report claimed that Jurgen Klopp's side had agreed a £36m deal for the Senegal international, but according to The Athletic, the attacker will not be moving to Anfield before the October 5 deadline.

Journalist James Pearce claims that a deal for Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Diogo Jota means that the Merseyside giants have ended their interest in Sarr.

Manchester United have also been credited with an interest amid suggestions that the Red Devils are weighing up alternatives to Borussia Dortmund attacker Jadon Sancho.

Liverpool, meanwhile, are said to be weighing up a late move for Napoli's Kalidou Koulibaly.
