Liverpool are reportedly willing to let Adam Lallana and Xherdan Shaqiri leave the club this summer and have identified Norwich's Todd Cantwell as a possible replacement.

Liverpool have reportedly identified Norwich City midfielder Todd Cantwell as a possible replacement for Adam Lallana this summer.

Lallana's contract expires at the end of the current campaign and there are no plans in place for an extension as things stand, meaning that the 31-year-old is likely to leave on a free transfer.

The Athletic reports that Liverpool are also willing to let Xherdan Shaqiri leave the club this summer, with the Swiss forward having made just two Premier League starts during an injury-disrupted campaign.

The report goes on to claim that Liverpool plan to enter the transfer market to replace the attacking midfield duo, and that Norwich's Cantwell is at the top of their list.

The Canaries are understood to want £30m for the 22-year-old regardless of whether they suffer relegation, although Liverpool could face competition for his signature from the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur.

Cantwell has scored six goals and registered two assists during his 28 Premier League appearances this season.
