Manchester United's move for Birmingham City teenager Jude Bellingham has reportedly been 'months in the making' with the English giants covering every angle of the possible deal.
Bellingham, who has been a key player for Birmingham this season despite only turning 16 last June, continues to be linked with some of Europe's biggest clubs.
United are considered to be among the favourites for the midfielder, and according to Sky Sports News, the club have worked on an approach for the England Under-17 international over the last few months.
The report claims that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side are hopeful of convincing Bellingham to move to Old Trafford, although Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund are also said to be firmly in the hunt.
The teenager is also believed to be a target for Liverpool but would allegedly choose to join the Red Devils over the European champions.
Bellingham, who was recently shown around United's training ground, has contributed four goals and three assists in 35 appearances for Pep Clotet's side this term.
