Manchester United reportedly revive their interest in £87m-rated Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, who has also been linked with Chelsea, PSG and Real Madrid.

Manchester United have reportedly revived their interest in Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic following reports that both Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are also weighing up a move for the Serbian.

United have held a long-standing interest in Milinkovic-Savic, who has scored four goals and created five more in 25 league appearances this season to help Lazio to the top of the Serie A table.

Gazzetta dello Sport reports that United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer views the 25-year-old as a possible replacement for Paul Pogba should the Frenchman leave the club this summer, with Juventus, PSG and Real Madrid all linked to the World Cup winner.

However, that trio of European giants have all been credited with an interest in Milinkovic-Savic too, while United's Premier League rivals Chelsea are also understood to be monitoring the situation.

The Serbia international's contract with Lazio does not expire until 2024, meaning that any club wanting to prise him away from the Stadio Olimpico would likely have to meet the asking price of €100m (£86.5m).

Lazio, who are currently on course for their first Serie A title in 20 years, are open to selling Milinkovic-Savic should they receive an offer which they deem acceptable.

The central midfielder joined Lazio from Belgian side Genk for around £16m in 2015.
