Jose Mourinho 'keen to offload Manchester United quartet'

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly looking to sell Daley Blind, Juan Mata, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Marcos Rojo this summer.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has reportedly placed Daley Blind, Juan Mata, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Marcos Rojo on the transfer market this summer.

The high-profile quartet are deemed surplus to requirements at Old Trafford, according to the Daily Record, and will be offloaded as Mourinho trims his squad during the transfer market.

Schweinsteiger and Rojo both struggled with injuries throughout the 2015-16 campaign, but Blind and Mata, the latter of whom has been linked with a move to Everton, were regular members of the first team.

The report goes on to state that Mourinho views Marouane Fellaini as an important part of his plans and will keep the Belgian at the club.

Mourinho has also reportedly decided on his preferred front four for the coming season, with captain Wayne Rooney playing in the hole behind Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and Anthony Martial and Henrikh Mkhitaryan either side.
