Report: Barcelona to move for Robin van Persie

A report claims that Barcelona will move for Manchester United forward Robin van Persie in January.

Barcelona are reportedly interested in Manchester United forward Robin van Persie.

The Dutchman topped the scoring charts in the Premier League last season as he picked up a league medal following his summer move from Arsenal.

However, it has been suggested that the striker is already looking to depart Old Trafford in January due to a strained relationship with his new boss David Moyes.

According to Sport, Barcelona coach Gerardo Martino is a keen admirer of the 30-year-old and is preparing a move in the January transfer window.

Van Persie has scored 10 times for United this season, but has struggled with groin and toe injuries in recent weeks.
