Report: Premier League trio still in for Xavi

A report claims that Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal are still interested in signing Barcelona midfielder Xavi this summer.

Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal are still reportedly firmly interested in signing Barcelona's experienced midfielder Xavi this summer.

The 34-year-old, who is widely regarded as one of the best midfielders of all time, has been with the Catalan outfit since 1991, making his first-team debut in 1998.

However, the Spanish international was used sparingly at times last season, fuelling suggestions that he could depart the club this summer.

Such speculation has cooled in recent weeks, but according to reports in England, there is still strong interest from the Premier League.

Xavi is currently on international duty ahead of the World Cup.
