Galatasaray midfielder Wesley Sneijder, who has been linked with Southampton, Manchester United and Manchester City, has been made an offer to join Juventus, according to reports.
The Dutch international is keen to leave Turkey and the club's financial position has reportedly made them keen to sell, with a move to the Premier League possible.
However, the Express reports that Juventus have made the first move by bidding £1.5m and are confident of striking a deal within the coming weeks, with Sneijder electing Italy as his preferred destination.
The 30-year-old was a key part of Louis van Gaal's World Cup team, and he scored in the last-16 win against Mexico.
