Manchester United full-back Brandon Williams is a loan target for fellow Premier League side Southampton, according to a report.

Southampton are reportedly interested in taking Manchester United full-back Brandon Williams on loan for the 2021-22 campaign.

The United academy product has spent his entire career at Old Trafford, making 45 appearances in all competitions since his debut in September 2019.

Williams has struggled for minutes this term, though, featuring 10 times overall - just three of those starts, each in domestic cup competitions.

Southampton fell short with a loan bid for the England Under-21s international in January, but The Sun claims that the Saints will make another approach in the summer.

Ralph Hasenhuttl is said to be desperate to strengthen his defence and is a big fan of Williams's versatility on the right and left.

The same report suggests that Brentford's Rico Henry is an alternative target for Southampton.
