Steve Lomas concerned by Scott Malone injury

Millwall manager Steve Lomas admits that he is worried by the knee injury that Scott Malone picked up during Saturday's draw with Burnley in the Championship.

Millwall boss Steve Lomas has admitted that he is concerned by the knee injury that Scott Malone suffered during Saturday's 2-2 draw with Burnley in the Championship.

The defender was forced off after just seven minutes at The Den as the Lions squandered a two-goal lead against the league leaders.

Lomas told the club's official website: "Scott has a knee injury and, if I'm honest, we are quite concerned that it is a bad one.

"He will have it checked out on Monday so hopefully we will know more then."

Millwall continue their Championship campaign next Saturday with a trip to Bolton Wanderers.
