Rafael Benitez: 'Reaching nine points is satisfying'

Rafael Benitez suggests that he is happy with Napoli's position in Group F of the Champions League.

Napoli coach Rafael Benitez has his sights set on the knockout stages of the Champions League following last night's 3-2 win over Marseille.

The result leaves the Italian side level with Arsenal at the top of Group F on nine points, with Borussia Dortmund trailing three behind.

Benitez's men travel to Germany for their penultimate fixture on November 26 knowing that a point will see them into the last 16.

"Reaching nine points was very positive and a coach has to be satisfied," the Spaniard told Sky Sport Italia.

"I think winning three of the opening four Champions League games was very good for a club like ours. A draw in Dortmund would qualify us from a very difficult group.

"It's so strange that some teams are practically qualified with nine points and we could go out with 12."

Napoli - currently second in Serie A - take on Juventus on Sunday.
