Report: Rafael Benitez to sign new four-year Napoli deal

Rafael Benitez is willing to sign a new four-year contract with Napoli, according to reports.

Rafael Benitez has reportedly indicated to Napoli that he would be willing to sign a new four-year deal ahead of contract talks with the club.

The Spaniard's current contract expires in the summer and both parties were believed to be open to parting company a few months back, but the club are now reported to be keen to keep Benitez, who has been linked with a return to the Premier League.

According to ANSA, Benitez's agent Manuel Garcia Quilon will meet Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis for talks on Thursday.

The report claims that the Napoli boss has outlined his long-term vision for the squad, while the planned development of the stadium and training ground is also reported to have persuaded him to rethink his future.

Napoli meet Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk in the Europa League semi-final first leg on Thursday.
