Report: Newcastle United will not sack John Carver

Newcastle United will not sack head coach John Carver before the end of the season, according to a report.

Newcastle United will reportedly not dismiss head coach John Carver before the end of the season.

The Magpies have lost their last eight Premier League matches, with the latest coming at Leicester City on Saturday.

Carver's side are just two points above the relegation zone with three matches left to play.

According to The Independent, Newcastle bosses will retain faith in the 50-year-old and allow him to see out the remainder of the season, despite their recent run of form.

The report adds that Newcastle officials believe that they still have enough in their squad to turn their form around.

Newcastle host West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.
