Newcastle United will complete the transfer of Massadio Haidara from Nancy on Tuesday, the French club have confirmed.
Magpies boss Alan Pardew has already signed Mathieu Debuchy and Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa from Ligue 1 this month and is closing in on another trio of players.
One of them is France Under-21 defender Haidara, who, according to his current club Nancy, will sign on at St James' Park imminently.
A statement on the Nancy website said: "After 46 games and two-and-a-half years in the Nancy shirt, Massadio Haidara is leaving for Newcastle.
"The two clubs have reached an agreement and will finalise the transfer on Tuesday."
Bordeaux striker Yoan Gouffran and Toulouse midfielder Moussa Sissoko are also nearing transfers to the Magpies.
