Report: Haris Vuckic to sign new Newcastle United deal, join Wigan on loan

Haris Vuckic reportedly agrees to sign a new contract at Newcastle United and will move to Wigan Athletic on a season-long loan.

Haris Vuckic has reportedly agreed to sign a new contract at Newcastle United, and will be loaned out to League One outfit Wigan Athletic this afternoon.

The 23-year-old joined the Magpies from Slovenian side Domzale in 2009, and has made 19 appearances for the club.

Vuckic spent time on loan at Rangers last season, scoring nine goals in 13 appearances for the Scottish giants.

According to the Daily Record, Vuckic will move to the DW Stadium on a season-long loan after signing a contract extension at St James' Park.

Vuckic made his first and so far only international appearance for Slovenia in 2012.
