Controversial striker Nicklas Bendtner reveals that he intends to become a manager when he calls time on his playing career.

Nicklas Bendtner has revealed that he dreams of becoming a manager once his playing days are over.

The former Arsenal striker has often made headlines for controversial incidents throughout his career and is currently without a club following his departure from FC Copenhagen last year.

Despite his antics, the Denmark international believes that he has what it takes to step into management when he hangs up his boots.

Speaking on his reality television show Bendtner and Philine, Bendtner said: "One of the things I want to do well is to be a manager.

"I really want to take the coaching courses, so I have what it takes. I think that at some point, before I am 40 or 45 years old, I will have taken charge of my first club."

Bendtner registered 45 goals in 171 games for Arsenal between 2005 and 2014.
