Norwich City name Gregg Broughton as new academy boss

Norwich City name Gregg Broughton as the club's new academy manager.

Norwich City have announced that Gregg Broughton will take over as the club's academy manager.

Broughton leaves his role as the academy's head of recruitment to replace Ricky Martin, who was named as the club's new technical director earlier this month.

Canaries chief executive David McNally told the club website: "Gregg will be ably assisted by Jerry Gill, Dmitri Halajko and Graeme Murty in their key roles and everyone at the Club looks forward to working hard with them to ensure the Academy builds on the major strides it has taken in recent years."

Norwich, who are back in the Championship in 2014-15 after three years in the Premier League, begin their campaign with a trip to Wolverhampton Wanderers on August 10.
