Norwich City boss Chris Hughton has admitted that he has made enquiries about Lazio defender Javier Garrido and Blackburn Rovers goalkeeper Mark Bunn.
Hughton has identified Bunn as the ideal man to provide experienced back-up to England international John Ruddy in the Canaries net.
Meanwhile, former Manchester City left-back Garrido is on Hughton's wishlist after Adam Drury left to join Leeds United this summer.
While he has confessed that talks have taken place, Hughton has said that nothing concrete is in place and that the pair are only among a handful of potential targets.
"Yes, enquiries have been made but as with so much stuff that gets into the public domain it is enquiries. We have made similar enquiries about numerous players," said Hughton.
On Garrido, he added: "He is one we are aware of. I can confirm there has been some contact between the two clubs and he is a player we do like.
"When there is something concrete and official to be said we'll say it."
Norwich begin their Premier League campaign away to Fulham on Saturday.
