Pescara 2-3 Sampdoria

Maxi Lopez inspires Sampdoria to take all three points for their trip to face Pescara in Serie A.

Two goals from Maxi Lopez has helped Sampdoria to a 3-2 win over Pescara this afternoon.

Marcelo Estigarribia grabbed the other goal in a solid performance at the Stadio Adriatico.

The Argentine opened the scoring in the 31st minute, when Eder got in behind the Pescara defence and ran through on goal, before squaring for Lopez to apply the finish.

Estigarribia doubled i Blucerchiati's advantage with a left-footed effort that Mattia Perrin could do nothing to stop.

Mervan Celik briefly restored hope for the hosts, but that was quickly extinguished by Lopez, who latched onto Roberto Soriano's excellent through ball before finding the back of the net.

Gianluca Caprari scored a consolation goal for Delfini after Giuseppe Colucci's corner had only been half cleared by the Sampdoria defence.
