Officials have opened the roof of Warsaw's National Stadium ahead of England's World Cup qualifier against Poland this afternoon.

Yesterday's match was postponed by just under 24 hours because of a waterlogged pitch.

It had been decided by all concerned that the roof would remain open, with the heavy showers that hit the Polish city unexpected.

The retracting roof was closed overnight to prevent the pitch from getting an even greater soaking.

However, it has been opened up this afternoon to help the pitch dry out.

The match is due to get underway at 4pm, with Sports Mole's live coverage commencing at 3pm.
