Zlatan Ibrahimovic scores a brace on his Ligue 1 debut as Paris Saint-Germain come from two goals down to draw with Lorient at Parc des Princes.

Title-favourites Paris Saint-Germain came from two goals down to rescue a point at home to Lorient on the opening day of the Ligue 1 season.

Despite enjoying almost twice as much ball possession as their opponents, the hosts were unable to cope with Lorient's direct counter-attacking style during the opening period.

A fourth-minute own goal from Maxwell put Lorient ahead before Jeremie Aliadiere doubled the lead with a precise finish in first-half stoppage time.

With the sixth shot of his Ligue 1 debut, Zlatan Ibrahimovic gave his side hope with a precise low drive from 12 yards on 64 minutes.

The Sweden international was then given the perfect chance to restore parity for his side from the penalty spot when Gregory Bourillon brought down Blaise Matuidi.

Bourillon was shown a straight red card and Ibrahimovic again made no mistake from 12 yards.
