Paris Saint-Germain ease past Bastia

Paris Saint-Germain ease past Bastia 3-0 thanks to two goals from Ezequiel Lavezzi and a strike from Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Paris Saint-Germain continued their charge to the Ligue 1 title with a 3-0 win against Bastia at Armand Cesari.

A goal from Zlatan Ibrahimovic and two from Ezequiel Lavezzi were enough for Laurent Blanc's side, who are now 11 points clear at the top of the table.

Sweden international Ibrahimovic opened the scoring after just six minutes when he rose highest to head home Lucas Moura's cross.

The striker then turned provider for his teammate Lavezzi on 19 minutes when he laid in the Argentina forward, who ran past Francois Modesto before finishing it off.

Alex had the ball in the back of the net five minutes after the restart, but the Brazilian defender's effort was ruled out for Thiago Silva's foul on Modesto.

Yohan Cabaye almost got in on the act when he shaved the crossbar on 67 minutes with a dipping half-volley.

Lavezzi made it 3-0 with two minutes of normal time remaining when he reacted quickest to Ibrahimovic's knockdown to round the goalkeeper before slotting into an empty net.
