Looking for a first win in seven league games, Sparta Rotterdam welcome relegation-threatened Willem II to the Het Kasteel on Sunday.

This is the second meeting between the sides this term, with Sparta having claimed a comprehensive 3-1 victory in December's reverse fixture.

We say: Sparta Rotterdam 2-0 Willem II

Both sides have struggled over the last two months, but Sparta are above their visitors for a reason, and we expect them to come out victorious in this one.

Ajax take on title rivals PSV Eindhoven on Sunday afternoon with the opportunity to move nine points clear at the top of the Eredivisie standings.

While the home side have been inconsistent of late, getting the better of the league leaders will keep them in the hunt for the top-flight crown.

After their efforts in midweek, tiredness will inevitably be a factor. Ajax's greater strength in depth could end up proving decisive, leading us to predict that the visitors will outlast their rivals in the closing stages to claim maximum points.

Both sides have been in good form of late as the visitors come into this one having not lost any of their last four league matches, while AZ have won each of their last three games.

Like most games between top teams, this should be an enthralling encounter with both sides going for the win. Having said that, we are backing AZ Alkmaar to record a fourth consecutive victory, and pull further away from Feyenoord on the log.
