Queens Park Rangers head coach Chris Ramsey has insisted that controversial midfielder Adel Taarabt still has a future at the club.
The Moroccan has spent four years at Loftus Road but has struggled to hold down a regular first-team sport in recent seasons, and he has been loaned out to AC Milan and Fulham as a result.
Ramsey says that getting Taarabt's career back on track will be one of his priorities once Premier League survival has been secured.
"Let's be honest, he should be playing for a top team in a top country like he showed at AC Milan when on loan," Ramsey told Get West London. "Many a person has tried [to coach him] and it has to come from within to some extent.
"At the moment, I don't think I've got the time to spend when I've got to get the rest of the squad where I want them to be, and it's frustrating because he's one of the best players in the Premiership."
Taarabt has made eight appearances for QPR this season in all competitions.
