Queens Park Rangers boss Neil Warnock has said that he is considering appealing the red card awarded to Joey Barton in the Hoops' 2-1 loss to Norwich this afternoon.
The midfielder scored to give Rangers the lead before being sent off for an apparent headbutt on Bradley Johnson.
"We will have to look and see what the referee says [in his report] and if there are any other angles, but from every one I have seen, I do not see a headbutt," said Warnock.
"I am not optimistic. We will have to decide later."
Both Barton and Warnock have commented on the decision, saying that they believed that the assistant referee had been "conned".
