Queens Park Rangers have completed the signing of Danny Gabbidon after he impressed on trial.
The Welsh international arrives at Loftus Road on a free transfer after his contract with West Ham United expired earlier this summer.
Manager Neil Warnock has handed Gabbidon a one-year deal, including the option of a further 12 months.
The 31-year-old becomes the newly-promoted club's third free transfer during pre-season, following the arrivals of Jay Bothroyd and Kieron Dyer.
