Niko Kranjcar holds Rangers talks?

Rangers boss Mark Warburton reportedly jets to New York to hold transfer negotiations with Croatian midfielder Niko Kranjcar.

Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Niko Kranjcar has reportedly held discussions regarding a move to Rangers.

The 31-year-old only joined current club New York Cosmos in March following his release by Dynamo Kiev.

However, the Daily Record claims that the Croatian playmaker met Rangers boss Mark Warburton in New York last week for talks over a summer switch to Ibrox.

As well as Spurs, Kranjcar has also played for Portsmouth and Queens Park Rangers.
