Karim Benzema to miss Getafe match?

A thigh injury will reportedly keep Karim Benzema out of Real Madrid's final La Liga game of the season against Getafe.

Karim Benzema is not expected to play again this season after picking up a thigh injury in Real Madrid's 4-1 win over Espanyol at the weekend.

The French international has only just returned from a month on the sidelines with a knee problem, but suffered another injury, this time to his thigh, in Sunday's success in Barcelona.

According to AS, Benzema will undergo tests to determine the extent of the injury, but it is unlikely that the forward will be risked this weekend against Getafe, with the match now of little importance.

Real Madrid can no longer win the La Liga title this season following Barcelona's 1-0 victory at Atletico Madrid.
