Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has said that Cristiano Ronaldo is not a selfish player after a recent flurry of assists.
The Portuguese forward has experienced a goal drought since late September, but five assists in the last three games have proven to the boss that he always works for the team.
"I have always said that Cristiano is not a selfish player. He has his own DNA that can't be changed and I won't change it," Mourinho told Marca.
"He has certain characteristics. The team is playing well, looking good and those up front are scoring their goals. It is not surprising that Cristiano feels good."
Madrid, who take on Malaga this weekend, are currently in third place in the La Liga table.
