Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal has said that he is "not thinking about leaving Madrid", with the Spaniard still confident that he can be a vital player for Los Blancos.
The 32-year-old made 41 appearances for Real Madrid during the 2023-24 campaign, scoring six goals and registering five assists in the process.
Carvajal played a leading role in his side's La Liga and Champions League triumphs, and he is now currently in action for Spain at this summer's European Championship.
There has recently been speculation surrounding the right-back's future, as his contract at Bernabeu only has another 12 months left to run.
However, Carvajal has insisted that he has no desire to even think about the possibility of leaving Carlo Ancelotti's side, with the defender confident that he can still perform at the highest level.

Carvajal has no desire to leave Real Madrid
"At the moment I'm not thinking about leaving Madrid, far from it. My subjective perception is that the day I can't contribute what I can contribute, I'll take a step aside," he told AS while on international duty.
"But I'm very happy. I think I can give a lot to the club, to the team. And I'm more excited than ever.
"I'm not thinking about anything at the moment. Neither for the future at Madrid nor to leave. I enjoy the moment, now I'm here at the European Championship and I talk about it many times with my wife.
"I enjoy every training session, every match; and what has to come, will come. I try not to obsess about the future because I like to live in the present, every situation that happens in my life."
Carvajal came through the youth system at Real Madrid and has been in their first team since 2013 after a brief stint with Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen.

Carvajal has been vital to Real Madrid's success
The defender has made 416 appearances for Real Madrid in all competitions, scoring 13 goals and registering 64 assists in the process.
Carvajal has won four La Liga titles, two Copa del Rey crowns and six Champions League trophies during a glittering career, and he scored in the final of the 2023-24 European Cup against Borussia Dortmund.
The Spaniard will be joined at Real Madrid next season by Kylian Mbappe, and he also had his say on the arrival of the France international on a free transfer.
"A player of his stature is going to give us a lot; and I think that by wearing our shirt, surrounded by very good players, he will make us candidates for everything again. Hopefully, that will be the case and we will continue to win titles," Carvajal added.
Real Madrid will be back in pre-season training next month, while they will face Atalanta BC in the UEFA Super Cup on August 14 ahead of their La Liga opener with Mallorca on August 18.
