Denis Cheryshev's future at Real Madrid is reportedly high on the priority list of Rafael Benitez with little under two weeks until the start of the La Liga season.
The Russian international joined Real Madrid back in 2002, but has not yet made a single first-team appearance for Los Blancos, having been out on loan with Sevilla and Villarreal.
The 24-year-old returned to Real Madrid at the start of the summer, however, and has been regularly involved in their preparations for the new campaign.
According to AS, Cheryshev's future is currently being discussed between all parties, with the attacker keen to know just how heavily he features in Benitez's plans for the new season.
The same report has claimed that Villarreal are waiting to make another loan swoop, should the attacker depart the Bernabeu again this summer.
