Valencia are reportedly preparing a summer swoop for Real Madrid forward Mariano Diaz.
The 25-year-old returned to the Bernabeu last August, having spent the 2017-18 season with Lyon, as Los Blancos activated their option to re-sign the striker following his 21 goals for Les Gones.
Mariano only scored four times for Madrid during the 2018-19 campaign, though, and according to Diario AS, Valencia are keen to bring him to the club in this summer's transfer window.
The report has claimed that the Dominican is 'almost certain' to leave the Bernabeu in search of regular first-team football, which could be on offer at the Mestalla.
Mariano has struggled with a number of injury problems over the last seven months.
