Rotherham United come back to hold Brighton & Hove Albion

Rotherham United come back to earn a 1-1 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion in the Championship.

Alex Revell's second-half strike cancelled out Joe Bennett's opener as Brighton & Hove Albion played out a 1-1 draw with Rotherham United in the Championship.

Jordan Bowery went close for Steve Evans's side on 26 minutes, but his glancing header dropped the wrong side of the post after a good delivery from Ben Pringle.

David Stockdale then made an important stop to deny Paul Green before thwarting a second attempt from the Rotherham man on the half-hour mark.

Stockdale was then forced into another stop towards the end of the half to deny Revell's downwards header.

Bennett converted at the death of the first half when he squeezed the ball in from a tight angle to give the Seagulls the advantage, but their lead was quickly wiped out after the restart.

Three minutes into the second half, Revell got on the end of Pringle's cross to even up the score.

The visitors almost snatched a winner late on, but Stockdale was alert to keep Rotherham at bay both teams were forced to settle for a point.
