San Lorenzo vs. Sarmiento (Monday, 11.00pm)

San Lorenzo and Sarmiento will be hoping to record their first win of the Argentine Primera Division second phase when they meet at Estadio Pedro Bidegain on Monday night.

Both sides have only managed one point so far in the second round of the league, although the hosts have played only two games while the visitors have played three.

We say: San Lorenzo 1-0 Sarmiento

While San Lorenzo have struggled to find their best form in the league this season, their Copa Libertadores results have shown that they are able to lift their game when needed. With the continental competition group stage now done, Los Santos can refocus on getting their league campaign back on track, and we feel they will start with a victory in this match.

Defensa vs. Independiente (Tuesday, 1.15am)

Two sides towards the bottom of the Argentine Primera Division come together on Tuesday at the Estadio Norberto Tito Tomaghello on matchday four.

Defensa y Justicia are 25th with just one point from the opening three games, while Independiente are only a point better off in 20th place.

We say: Defensa y Justicia 0-1 Independiente

Both teams are coming into this game having endured recent periods of uncertainty with changes to their manager, but Independiente's performances and results have been significantly better than the hosts, who have failed to win in over a month.

In comparison, the visitors have won two and drawn one of their last three away matches, leading us to believe they will take the three points from this one.

Estudiantes vs. Godoy Cruz (Tuesday, 1.15am)

Estudiantes and Godoy Cruz return to action in the Argentine Primera Division when they go head to head at the Estadio Jorge Luis Hirschi on Monday.

Still licking their wounds from their Copa Libertadores exit, Los Pincharratas will head into the game looking to pick up a morale-boosting result and make it two consecutive home wins to start the new league campaign.

We say: Estudiantes 2-1 Godoy Cruz

Following their Copa Libertadores exit, Estudiantes will head into Monday's tie looking to return to winning ways and restore some pride. Godoy Cruz have struggled to get going on their travels and we are tipping the hosts to come away with all three points, albeit by the odd goal.
