Hull City's Robert Snodgrass hopes to return from injury for Scotland qualifiers

Injured Hull City winger Robert Snodgrass reveals that he hopes to play in Scotland's European qualifiers in September.

Hull City winger Robert Snodgrass has revealed that he hopes to return from injury in time to feature in Scotland's European Championship qualifiers in September.

The 27-year-old has been out of action for the last six months after suffering a serious knee injury on his debut for Hull back in August.

While his main priority is to return to full fitness for the new season, Snodgrass also has an eye on qualifiers against Georgia and Germany.

"My aim is to try and get back for next season," the Evening Times quotes Snodgrass as saying. "It's up to myself to try and do that, but I'd love to be involved with Scotland for the September games.

"That is a date I've got noted in the back of my head, but I can't look too much at that because the first thing I need to do is get fit."

Snodgrass joined Hull from Norwich City last summer.
