Saints sell Vegard Forren back to Molde

Southampton agree a deal to sell Vegard Forren back to his former club Molde on a permanent basis, according to a report.

Southampton have agreed a deal to sell Vegard Forren back to his former club Molde, just six months after signing the Norwegian defender.

The 25-year-old arrived on the South Coast in January for a fee of £3.5m, with the Saints fending off reported interest from Liverpool to complete the move.

Forren has been unable to impress Saints boss Mauricio Pochettino since he arrived at the club, failing to make a single first-team appearance last season.

Molde boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has agreed a permanent deal to resign Forren which according to PA will be completed later today.
