Hartlepool United have failed to cut the gap on fellow playoff-chasing side Southend United, playing out a 1-1 draw at Roots Hall.
Barry Corr gave the Shrimpers the lead two minutes before half time, though the visitors hit back through Brad Walker on the hour mark to level the contest.
Elsewhere, relegation-threatened Accrington Stanley and Bury cancelled each other out, with the game at Crown Ground ending 0-0.
After a goalless first half, neither side could make the breakthrough in the second 45, but Stanley will be the happier of the two after being left with 10 men for an hour following Laurence Wilson's red card.
Meanwhile, Exeter City and Morecambe also finished all square, as Padraig Amond's 54th-minute goal cancelled out Tom Nichols's early strike to level the contest.
Jamie Devitt was dismissed late on for the visitors, but the Grecians couldn't find a breakthrough in the remaining seconds, with the draw leaving both sides locked on 39 points in midtable.
