England have received an injury boost ahead of their Euro 2012 campaign after Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Scott Parker completed a training session with the national side yesterday.
The Three Lions' 23-man squad met up with new manager Roy Hodgson for the first time this week for a training session at Manchester City's Etihad Stadium.
There were concerns over the fitness of Parker ahead of the meeting yesterday due to an Achilles problem, which held him back during the closing stages of the season for Spurs.
Despite initial fears, the 31-year-old took part in the full session and could feature in England's friendly against Norway on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Manchester United's Danny Welbeck and Liverpool defender Glen Johnson sat out of yesterday's session as a precaution.
