William Gallas wants Tottenham Hotspur to finish in the top four in the Premier League.

Tottenham Hotspur defender William Gallas is determined to see his side finish in the top four in the Premier League this season.

Spurs are currently fourth in the table with 17 points from nine matches following their 2-1 away victory over Southampton on Sunday.

"We have won this game, but we have to play away against Norwich in the next game (League Cup fourth-round tie) so it will be a difficult match again, and then we have to receive Wigan so we don't have much time," he is quoted as saying by London24.com.

"We just want to be in the top four, and at the moment that's where we are so it's good, but we will see at the end of the season if we will finish on top or not."

Spurs finished fourth in the Premier League last season.
