Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has no buyout clause in his new contract amid reports linking him to the vacant Real Madrid job, according to a report.
Zinedine Zidane announced his surprise resignation from the Bernabeu hotseat on Thursday, just days after winning his third consecutive Champions League trophy.
Numerous reports have claimed that Real president Florentino Perez is hoping to recruit Pochettino, having rated the Argentine highly since his early management days at Espanyol.
According to Sky Sports News, however, the Spurs boss has no buyout clause, while club sources deny that there is a verbal agreement for Pochettino to be granted permission to discuss a move to Real.
Pochettino signed a new five-year contract last week after guiding the North London club to three successive top-three finishes in the Premier League.
