Harry Redknapp urges Steve Kean support

Spurs boss Harry Redknapp believes that Blackburn fans should get behind manager Steve Kean ahead of planned protests at Ewood Park on Sunday.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has urged Blackburn Rovers fans to get behind boss Steve Kean ahead of the two sides' match later today (Sunday).

Rovers fans are planning a protest before the game at Ewood Park over the club's poor start to the season, but Redknapp believes that they should support their team during difficult times.

"It's always a shame when that happens to anyone," said Redknapp. "They need to get behind their team at the moment. That's more important. He is working hard and the fans need to stick with their team. It's their club and you have to keep supporting your team."

Spurs go into the match at Ewood Park in sixth place in the Premier League table, while Blackburn are currently 19th.
