Kyle Walker removes his Twitter account following reported abuse from Tottenham Hotspur fans aimed at the defender.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Kyle Walker has deleted his Twitter account after receiving abuse from fans following the loss to Chelsea.

The England international was involved in a confrontation with Juan Mata during the 4-2 defeat at White Hart Lane and was reportedly criticised by his own supporters for his performance.

Walker expressed his disappointment at the abuse but quickly deleted the post before removing his account shortly after.

Spurs are fifth in the Premier League following the result.
