Borussia Dortmund are reportedly planning to offer unwanted Tottenham Hotspur playmaker Lewis Holtby a return to Germany in the summer.
The 23-year-old is currently on loan at Fulham and Tim Sherwood is believed to be willing to part with him permanently at the end of the season.
Dortmund were considering an approach for the former Schalke 04 midfielder in January when their squad was depleted by injury, but Holtby ended up staying in the Premier League.
According to Football Direct News, Jurgen Klopp maintains an interest in the three-times capped German international and could make a move for him when the transfer window reopens.
There is expected to be plenty of interest in Dortmund midfielders Marco Reus and Ilkay Gundogan in the summer, and therefore the Bundesliga side are making plans for if either or both are sold.
