Queens Park Rangers close in on Emmanuel Adebayor loan?

Premier League strugglers Queens Park Rangers are understood to be closing in on a loan move for Spurs striker Emmanuel Adebayor.

Queens Park Rangers are reportedly hopeful of completing a loan move for Tottenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Adebayor on transfer deadline day.

QPR boss Harry Redknapp claimed on Friday that a deal for the 30-year-old was likely to be too expensive for the Premier League strugglers.

It is understood that the Togolese is earning around £100,000 per week at Tottenham.

However, the Hoops are now closing in on a temporary switch for the former Arsenal and Manchester City forward, according to The Telegraph.

Adebayor has struggled for first-team action at White Hart Lane this season, scoring two goals in 15 games for Spurs.
