Report: Tottenham Hotspur will not move for Saido Berahino this January

Tottenham Hotspur are unlikely to move for West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino in the January transfer window, according to reports.

Tottenham Hotspur will not attempt to sign West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino this winter, according to reports.

The England Under-21 striker, who scored four goals in his side's 7-0 win over Gateshead in the FA Cup third-round on Saturday, has been heavily linked with a move away from The Hawthorns in the January transfer window.

However, the Daily Mail claims that a move for Berahino is not a priority for Spurs and it may only happen if the club receive suitable bids for current forwards Roberto Soldado and Emmanuel Adebayor, but there is currently no sign of that happening.

New West Brom boss Tony Pulis has insisted that the club have not received an offer for Berahino, and reports suggest that only accept a bid in the region of £20m would suffice.

Berahino has scored 13 goals in 24 appearances in all competitions this season.
