Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly ready to part ways with Eric Dier during the January transfer window.
Since arriving at the North Londoners for the 2014-15 campaign, the England international has never made fewer than 28 appearances in all competitions during a single season.
However, that will almost come to an end over the coming months courtesy of having been frozen out by new head coach Ange Postecoglou.
The 29-year-old has not played a single minute under the Greek-Australian courtesy of dropping down to at least fifth in the pecking order.
With a year remaining on Dier's contract, Spurs were ready to do business in the summer, only for a realistic offer for his signature failing to arrive.

A positive for Dier is being named in two Premier League squads since the international break, even though he did not make an appearance.
Nevertheless, Postecoglou did not include one of the club's longest-serving players in his ranks for the fixture with Liverpool at the weekend.
According to Football Insider, a decision has already been made for offers to be accepted at the midway point of the season.
That will represent the final opportunity to recoup a fee for Dier, who may be viewed as a valuable addition to clubs in January.

There is no guarantee that Dier will jump at the chance to move if he is presented with a better opportunity or offer from July onwards.
Dier is no stranger to playing abroad having spent time at Sporting Lisbon before signing for Spurs, and it is plausible that foreign clubs will want to instigate discussions at the turn of the year regarding a pre-contract agreement.
Roma boss Jose Mourinho is said to be in favour of a reunion with a player that he worked with during his time at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
As far as Premier League clubs are concerned, Fulham may renew their interest in Dier with their own defender Tosin Adarabioyo in an identical position.
