Tottenham Hotspur will make a move for West Bromwich Albion defender Jonas Olsson during the summer, according to reports.

West Bromwich Albion defender Jonas Olsson could sign for Tottenham Hotspur during the summer, according to reports.

Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas is looking for a defender to replace William Gallas, who was released earlier this week.

According to the Daily Star, the Portuguese coach has been given the backing to make a move for Baggies centre-back Olsson, who has a release clause of £3.5m.

The Swedish international has made over 150 appearances at The Hawthorns since his arrival at the club in 2008.
