Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly poised to move for Porto left-back Alvaro Pereira this summer.
The 26-year-old Uruguay international played under Andre Villas-Boas during the 2010-2011 season and the former Chelsea boss is understood to have tried to sign the player while he was in charge at Stamford Bridge.
Villas-Boas is expected to be unveiled as the new manager of Spurs next week and the club want him to be reunited with Pereira at White Hart Lane, according to The Mirror.
Pereira, who signed a new deal with the Portuguese champions last October, has a minimum fee release clause of £25.7m in his contract.
