Swansea City are reportedly interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur forward Giovani Dos Santos on loan.

Swansea City are said to be interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur forward Giovani Dos Santos.

The 23-year-old, who has 12 months remaining on his current contract, has made only two Premier League starts for Spurs since joining from Barcelona in 2008.

Dos Santos is almost certain to leave White Hart Lane this summer and Swans boss Brendan Rodgers is very interested in bringing him to the Liberty Stadium, according to the Press Association.

However, it is believed that any Swansea move for the player would be a loan deal as the club have spent the vast majority of their summer budget on the £6.8m signing of Gylfi Sigurdsson.

Dos Santos has been capped 55 times by Mexico, scoring 11 goals at international level.
